Africans depend on google for all their information and have made google more dominant in Africa. Google search engine is the language spoken by our kids and not forget me and you too. Yet Africans working with google go through hell and are discriminated frequently. They can be layoff anytime they feel like reducing their staffs. I believe we have professionals and experts in this field, who are more than capable to create our own search engine. We have also business tycoons and rich Africans that have the money to build the first Africa search engine if they can only invest in it. They can also lunch their own communication satellite just for Africa with support of the African government and the African Union. This can be achieved if we put our heads together.
You can imagine what it will do to the African economy and the people. We are talking of massive job creations and rewriting of the African history. Brainwashing of Africans will be drastically reduced and good morals can be a thing of the present. Only if you know what google have done to the African children, but if we have our own this can be controlled.
Apart from the search engine we should not limit ourselves as Africans in the field of communication technology this can change the narratives of the African people. Only having our own search engine will save billions of dollars which we can use for other projects. This can be done if we try because we have the human resources and wealth to make this dream come true. Let's think about it because if achieved is a means of breaking away from the clutches of slavery and racism.
Very great thinking!
It is time for us to do something , preaching alone is not enough anymore!
